Adam's Equity Theory
Social comparison: workers determine what is fair based on their inputs and outcomes with those of their co-workers
Cognitive distortion: workers who become demotivated can see a balance by altering their inputs, such as putting in less efforts or their outcome by asking for a pay raise
Equity Norm: workers expect an equitable remuneration for their contributions in their jobs (a correct sum of money)
