Because of this, when time came, the feudal system crumbled and a new system was needed.

One important thing that we can learn from Medieval Europe is how to maintain government stability. In most every country that used the feudal system, power and stability was very hard to maintain. Leaders were constantly overthrown, heirs were not decided, and many nobles were not intelligent enough to make the decisions needed to run a country.
