Question#4: Should there be limits to the amount of technology or innovations we are creating? Do they do us more harm or good? For example: cloning, robots, whatever they did in your book, etc.
I think they should be limits to the amount on technology because plastic surgery makes people feel like a brand new person. People who don't get plastic surgery feel discouraged about themselves. Also it makes them feel like they are really ugly and they don't have anyone complementing them. Also plastic surgery hurts because before you get your ending results your body will swell up.
"Take a look tally, he held out his own hand. The skin of his palm was smooth and unblemished."

Question#3: How does the world (as it exists in your book) influence the characters’ choices/actions/beliefs, etc?
"Around the outskirts of the city, cut off from the town by the black oval of the river, everything was in darkness. Everyone ugly was in bed by now."
The world to my character is separated. This world that my character lives in is more of a judgment zone to tell the people if they are ugly or not. Which in this case my character Tally is ugly so she is separated from her best friend Peris, because he got plastic surgery done so that he can be pretty. Which makes Tally want to turn pretty so that she can be with her best friend again. This discourages Tally because she wants to be pretty so that she can be with her best friend and it makes her upset because she feels like an outcast compared to all of the pretties in the town.

"Not be pretty? That's crazy Shay. All the times you talked that way, I thought you were just being stupid. Peris always said the same stuff."
