Design and render both manually and electronically (Illustrator) the front cover of an Adult Colouring book.
Colour using medium of choice. Colour palette should reflect the style/theme of book, based from specific colour scheme.
Example themes: anime, environment, space, animal, spiritual, culture or choose your own.
Consider elements and principles of design. Thumbnails and reflection must be recorded in visual diary.
Relevant sources, noting styles, designs and relevant techniques. Research.
Thumbnail ideas, reflect, seek feedback.
Develop thumbnails into detailed comprehensives. Reflect, seek feedback.
Mark making - looking into suitable patterns to be applied to your theme.
Render concept by hand. Reflect, seek feedback.
Mount manual artwork for presentation and prepare work for storage.
Scan and place hand drawn illustration into Illustrator and electronically render the final cover.

Technical specification: no bigger than A4, must select orientation and page size within the parameters. Must be hand coloured - chosen media.
Evidence required to be submitted:
Submission-present to teacher: final hard copy - both hand drawn and coloured digital adult colouring book mounted together on to black card 25mm border.
Submission-connect: final soft copy - smallest file size of pdf presentation and visual diary.
Visual diary: unpacking assessment coggle, creative thinking process, class exercises, various drawings and peer feedback, colour and type selection, hand and digital drawing, folder structure screenshot.
Presentation: compulsory 3-5 minute digital presentation, week 17.
