Air Masses
Large bodies of air that have uniform temperature, humidity and pressure, responsible for most weather patterns. It forms when a a large high-pressure system lingers somewhere for days a row.
Air Mass Classification

-
Air masses are classified based on temperature and moisture.Land=Continental,Water=Maritime,Equator=Tropical and Polar=Arctic and Antartic
Pressure Systems
Air pressure is the weight of the molecules in a large air mass.High Pressure Systems are large bodies of circulating air with high pressure air at the center and low pressure air outside.Low Pressure Systems are large bodies of circulating air with low pressure air at the center and high pressure air outside. The former means fair weather and the later means storms.
