Three Causes
Another Cause of the Imperialism was the Industrial Revolution. The Industrial Revolution caused tremendous demand for raw materials such as rubber, copper, gold, and palm oil. It also caused expanded markets. 
The final cause of Imperialism was religious fever and feelings of racial and cultural superiority. This made people impose culture on distant lands, and spread western technology, customs, and traditions.
One Cause of Imperialism was Nationalism. Nationalism urged rivals to build empires in pursuit of competition and power.
