proteins
Proteins are organic polymers made of amino acids linked together in a specific order, not just random chains of amino acids.
structure: When a chain reaches 50 or more amino acids, it is called a protein.
Only 20 different amino acids exist.
examples: enzymes, hormones, transport proteins etc..
