Students would be pre assigned a planet or solar system that they would gather information on and then present to the class. In a synchronous classroom, teachers could take students on a virtual field trip via live video stream of a planet. This way students can see the planet while hearing the teacher's commentary and asking questions in real time.

In a synchronous classroom bubbl.us could be used to brainstorm ideas for a topic, or a collaborative tool to connecte ideas and what students learned together. In an asynchronous classroom students could be assigned to map out their throught processes when doing a project.
