Robert E. Lee: : He was the leader of the union. His path was very hard yo get to the leader of the confederate.He was a very respected man and a great leader. After the war he got a lot of job offers. He worked as a professer for the univertsiy of Virginia.
Abraham Lincoln: He was the president of the Civil war and had an big impact on it. Two impacts he had were the Emancipation Proclamation and the Gettysburg Address.

The Emancipation Proclamation. It freed slaves in south but not in the north. They didn't get freed in the north because they were part of the millarty. The confederate army would've been mad because they couldn't use slaves in their army. The north slaves would've been mad because the south slaves got free but not them.
