Fugitive slave act
this lead to the lead to the civil war because slave owners can put free people into slavery if they were black, so that had some conflict in it
fugitive slave act- the fugitive slave act was where if a slave ran to the north the slave owners could bring them back. and the slave owner could bring back a free African American and put them into slavery
Eli Whitney
the cotton gin impacted the north and the south heavily. for the slaves, it leads to less work in ways but having this cotton gin the farmers could plant more crop so it also leads to more work in ways
Eli Whitney was the inventor of the cotton gin witch allowed people or slavs to get the seeds out of cotton faster
industrialization
industrial is where machines are starting to get more popular and factories and harbors are starting to get bigger and more popular
the south was lacking heavily when it came to industrialization because the only thing that really helped the slaves was the cotton gin because they worked slaves instead of machines
Economy
in the north their economy was just all around better because they had more larger cities and more railroads
in the Southland, they had more crop because they had a lot of people working on big farms when the north they had some people working on farms but they also were gaining in industrialization

this lead to the war because the south thought they needed more or bigger farms so they needed more slaves on the other hand the north didn't slaves because they were more industrialized and had machines to do the work
Missouri compromise- the Missouri compromise was where the U.S. split the United States in half between the north on the south to split the slave states and the free states up to the compromise of Missouri being a slave state.
This lead to the civil war because there was a slave state above the line crossing over to the north from the south
Kansas- Nebraska act- The Kansas Nebraska was where the region of Kansas and Nebraska, they chose free state or slave state by popular severity witch is where the people chose.
this lead to the civil war because it was peoples choice where a group of people wants a slave state and a group of people wants a free state and that can lead to conflict.
Underground railroad
The Underground railroad helped slaves get from point A to point B. witch their ultimate goal was Canada
this lead to conflict in the civil war because slave owners/ farmers slaves were leaving them so they wanted them back and this is where the fugitive slave act came into hand

people kept aging about slavery and not having slavery so that had conflict in it so they went to war
