Using Technology to Help the Community
Deforestation is a world wide problem involving cutting down too many trees.
The effects of deforestation are even worse. Animals losing their homes, mudslides, and climate change are all things that could happen if it continued.
But, there is a way to decrease the amount of trees cut down in schools by reducing the large amounts of paper we use.
Google offers applications like google classroom that allow students to use online documents for schoolwork, and also a way to turn in their work to teachers.
Who knew that using Google Classroom could be so beneficial to the environment? Along with its convenience, it saves paper, which is an even better result.
By using Google Classroom instead of paper, schools can have a big positive impact on the WORLD.
Here is the process that may follow teachers using google classroom:
First, teachers will not have to print and photocopy so many packets, so they stop using a lot of the paper they were beforehand.
Next, the less the need of paper, the less that will be bought.
Third, less trees will need to be cut down due to the less demanding need for paper.
so,
Finally, this means less deforestation, which will really benefit the environment.
Another problem in the world is pollution.
But, there is technology to reduce the waste thrown away or thrown outside on our planet. Recycling.
The technologies of recycling are able to transfer something that we may think of as waste to a whole new product.
Oceans, forests, and the areas we live around have all seen pollution.
So instead of just throwing your trash away and overfilling landfills, or worse, littering, people have the option to recycle and use the machinery and technology to further prevent pollution.
A current major problem in the world right now is global warming.
By using fossil fuels to power our lives, we don't realize how much harm we're doing to our atmosphere- our environment when those gases enter the air.
But there is a solution to this using technology: Solar Panels.
They work by using sunlight and transferring it into electricity,
So instead of using fossil fuels, people can use solar panels instead. This will reduce the amount of bad chemicals and gases that enter our atmosphere every day.
This technology does not only help the air, it is less expensive in the long term for people to use instead of standard fuel.
So, if people begin to use solar panels, fossil fuels will not have to be burnt to make energy.
And the gases and pollutants will not enter the atmosphere.
Then, there will be less to make our atmosphere like a greenhouse and warm the climate, so overall, it will lessen the extreme climate change.
