The variety of adaptations in animals enables them to live in many habitats, such as:
Terrestrial: Live on land, ex. forests and deserts
Freshwater: Live on fresh water, ex. lakes
Marine: Live on salty water, ex.oceans
Reproduction

Hermaphrodites can produce both sperm and egg, but cannot produce embryos.
