IN RELATION TO SCIENCE
The collision theory has 5 subtopics (or factors) that when followed, produces a successful collision.
- SHRINK CONTAINER - this will be applied in the story when the spaceship they ride will be left behind to let the cosmonauts travel space
- INCREASE NUMBER OF PARTICLES - once a player (cosmonaut) acquires a star from the Asteroid belt or from Saturn's rings, they can move twice the number they get from the die.
- SPEED UP PARTICLES BY ADDING HEAT - when a player (cosmonaut) steps on a red tile (which signifies heat), they can jump for 3 tiles on the game
- BREAK UP CLUMPS INTO INDIVIDUAL PARTICLES - this will be applied when the player (cosmonaut) attaches the missing star on the constellation
- USE A CATALYST - when the player (cosmonaut) reaches a special tile, they can forward to ten tiles
One main question for this board game is how the collision theory relates to the galaxy. The main reason is that the game creators decided to use space as a creative medium to explain the given science topic in imaginative eyes.
Realistically speaking, the children won't be able to grasp all the scientific concepts in one go. Because of this, there will be a guidebook/lesson book for the children to read on how everything relates to the collision theory.
