Pope Urban II called the Christian people to fight back after there had been a series of attacks on the Christians on there way the Jerusalem from Muslim Turks.
The second Crusade didn't go well, in 1774 a Muslim with the name of Saladin became ruler of Egypt, he united Muslims and declared war with the Christians.
