SHOULD AND SHOULDN'T

Types of modal verbs:

CAN AND CAN'T

This verb modal, will be use when we need the form "to work" to accompany this verb.Sometimes,this verb we use for hability, posibility and permission.

The verb can, in the negative form we say can't and the positive form we say can.



This verb always, is accompany with the form "to work"
An example:
I can climb the tree every day.

COULD AND COULDN'T

This verb, is the past tense form of Can and Can't

Could and couldn't refers to ability or inability in the past

We use could and couldn't to mean we were able to do somthing in the past

We use should or shouldn't to give advice or to talk about what we think is right or wrong

One example:when she was 1, she could walk

Shouldn't, means like i think it is a bad idea for you to do it

Should is used to express the opinioon of a speaker and often follows i think and i don't think.

One example: I think you should take a few days off

MUST AND MUSTN'T

We use must, to talk about rules

For the negative, we can say must not, or Mustn't

One example: Parents must take care of their children

HAVE TO AND DON'T HAVE TO

We use have to and don't have to, to say things we wants to do.

In the negative form,we use 'do not have to' to talk about things that we have the choice to make, but we are not obligated.
