Smoking hurts others
If you smoke near others you are increasing their chance of cancer which is technically murder.
Even though the person is not smoking next to you they still can get tar in their lungs that can hurt them in later life.
If you smoke during pregnancy it can hurt the baby
Some adults don't care or recognize that smoking near their children can cause bad problems in later life which is technically child abuse.
How Nicotine effects people
It can enter brain and triggers enjoyment so it makes the person keep smoking.
Nicotine can cause brain damage and can effect people in later life.
Why people smoke and how much people smoke
According to The Society of Thoracic Surgeons Administration...
"About 1.1 billion people -- one in every three adults -- are smokers, according to the World Health Organization. China is the world’s largest producer and consumer of cigarettes, with more than 350 million residents reporting being current or former smokers. "
Like i said in the light blue line nicotine enters and affects the brain's pleasure zone making you feel like it is a reward smoking
Why smoking can hurt you
Smoking creates Tar in your lungs which can increase your chance of cancer easily
Nicotine can enter the brain and go to the pleasure zone of the brain (near the middle) it makes you feel rewarded when you smoke and makes you keep smoking So then you get addicted and it can hurt the relationship between people.

if we did outlaw smoking
Lots of factory workers would lose their job due to prohibiting the production and use of smoking but they could get others jobs too so It would not be such a bad thing to outlaw smoking
