Rasing awareness of problems that affect ocean pollution
Temperature
When the water temperatures are low that means the animals the food web is in balance but if it rises to much it could cause bad things
Mostly affects small lake streams that lead to big oceans and that means that it is polluting the bigger ocean.
When you start to polluted small areas that lead to bigger areas of water then it could lead to unhealthy waters. Which could lead to animals in those water becoming endangered
Marine life
Marine life is affected because when trash enters the ocean the animals assume that it is food and eat it and die and when they die this affects the food chain because the preadotors will have nothing to eat.
Can affect the food chain and other animals lives could be at risk because of the pollution in the ocean.
Marine life is decreasing rapidly because of death of animals who have eaten or gotten caught in trash
How ocean pollution affects the food chain
Affect the food chain because when one predator goes extinct its prey becomes overpopulated and then its prey becomes extinct and unbalances the food chain.
Can lead to animals and predators becoming extinct
When you unbalance a food chain it unbalances the whole food chain and then the circle of life of the animals has to be adapted and sometimes some animals cannot adapt
How ocean pollution is affecting the climate
Because of the pollution some ocean levels are rising which can cause floods and over exceeding water levels.
Water pollution is also affecting global warming
It is affecting the climate by making it very hard for some people to find clean drinkable and sanitary water to use in a normal everyday life.
Also with exceeding trash levels this rising the water level which then causes over flow
Littering in the ocean
Estimated that there is about 13,000 pieces of plastic litter per square kilometre of the world's oceans.
Affects the marine life and endangered many species that could go extinct.
Spreads diseases
Which can lead to unsanitary and can affect the way humans live
How it affects human health
It affects human because millions of people die each due to diseases caused by unsanitary water.
Some litter contains diseases which when the trash enters the water because the current spreads the diseases through the ocean.
The ocean produces some/most of the oxygen we need to breath.
If the water gets over polluted then we will lose a big amount of oxygen because there isn't
Description of water pollution
When oceans are infested with waste and litter.
When waters become unsanitary and can turn brown which means they are not clean and unsanitary
Other facts
Over 70% of the world is covered in water
About 70% of the oxygen we breathe is produced by the oceans.
Causes of Water pollution
Industrial Waste
Sewage and waste water
Burning of Fossil Fuel
Animal waste being thrown into the ocean
Global Warming
Leakage of sewer lines
Leakage from Land fills
occurs when substances that will modify the water in negative fashion are discharged in it.
