Insurance company will not cover Consequential loss or damage of any kind except as provided in Section III A
Section III : Rent Insurance
a) as the Owner but not Occupier of the premises, the loss of rent; and/or
b) as the Occupier of the premises, reasonable additional expense necessarily incurred by him at a hotel, lodging house or boarding house

SECTION III – OTHER CONTINGENCIES
A) RENT INSURANCE
The total limit of liability shall not exceed 10% of the Total Sum Insured on Buildings and/or Contents.
The Insured are Covered for loss of rent in the event Your Private Dwelling House as stated on the Schedule is no longer habitable, as a result of an Insured event for the period necessary for reinstatement.
As an Occupier, Insurance Company will pay for reasonable additional expenses incurred at a hotel, lodging house or boarding house, as a result of an Insured event, for the period necessary for reinstatement.
B) LIABILITY TO THE PUBLIC
Insurance Company will indemnify the insured or Spouse insured legal liability in respect of accidents or series of accidents arising out of one Occurrence, during the Period of insurance to property or bodily injury to another person, who is not a member of the Family, Household or service:
Liability as owner of the insured Building caused by a defect in the buildings.
Liability as an Occupier in respect of accidents which occur in or about the private dwelling house.
Occurring during the Period of Insurance and resulting in:
1) Bodily injury to any person not being a member of the Insured's family or household nor at the time of sustaining such injury engaged in the Insured's service
2) Damage to property not belonging to or in the charge of or under the control of the Insured or of a member of his family or household or of a person in his service.
INSURED
If Buildings are for Blocks of Flats or Apartments, the insurance company’s indemnity to the insured is restricted to insured’s legal liability for claims made as owner of the Buildings
Legal costs and expenses recoverable from insured or spouse by any claimant.
Legal costs and expenses incurred by insured or spouse with the insurance company’s consent.
UNINSURED
All legal costs and expenses which are not incurred in or recoverable in Malaysia.
Ownership, possession or use by or on behalf of insured or spouse of any lift, vehicle, vessel or craft of any kind
The carrying out of alterations, additions, repairs or decorations to the insured’s buildings
SECTION I : LOSS OR DAMAGE TO THE BUILDING
“Buildings” means buildings of a Private Dwelling House at the Premises and includes:
1) All domestic offices, stables;
2) garages and outbuildings on the same Premises used solelyin connection to it and on the same Premises;- fixtures and fittings;- walls, gates and fences around the Premises.
Private Dwelling House also refer to buildings or Flats and Apartments.
When Blocks of Flats or Apartments are insured, Private Dwelling House will refer to the Private Flats or Apartments.
