Carbon Monoxide is poisonous as it is binds with haemoglobin in the red blood cells and reduces oxygen transport from the red blood cells so the person should feel breathless

Cell transport
active transport and osmosis are both used within the body to supply cells and muscles with nutrients.
-
osmosis occurs across a concentration gradient and is the movement of water across a semi permeable membrane
Diffusion is the movement of substances from an area of high concentration to an area of low concentration.
Immune system
White blood cells
Lymphocytes
Makes specific antibodies which bind to antigens on the surface of bacteria, which clumps them together. This makes it harder for them to enter cells and easier for phagocytes to engulf. They then go through mitosis so there are more correct-antibody-producing lymphocytes. After the infection some remain as memory cells
Phagocytes
When sensors on its membrane are triggered, it engulfs foreign bodies by surrounding them with its pseudopods. Then it releases enzymes to digest the bacteria.
-
Digestive System
Responsible for the breaking down of food into soluble molecules, and thus for the nutrition of the body.
