Williams decendant, Henry, ruled England from 1154 to 1184. During his rule he Utilized the law courts to invrease his power and set up a central court. He began to have cases and hearings. He also developed two kingds of jurries to solve issues in the city.
Black Death:
The rats infected the trade routes by jumping into carvans and biting the people inside.
The Black Death spread when a couple of fleas became infected with the bacterium.
The Black Death affected many countries and infected millions. China was most affected. Killing 40-60 million people which was half of the population! Europe was second most affected infecteing and killing 19-38 million people and London in 3rd with 68 thousand deaths.

Crusades went on for over 100 years
A crusade is a holy war to recapture holy land.

The French won the 100 year war and defeated the English
The Reconquest ended in 1492.
King Edward the third declared himself king and started s 100 year war.
Pope vs. King:
Excommunicated meant that the king couldn't go to church it also meant that he wouldn't go to heaven.
The pope wanted the church to be not just about spiritual aspects but over daily life.
Gregory disapproved Emperor Henry. This is when it all happened Emperor Henry got made for questioning Mrs, authority he asked the bishops to excommunicate.
Spread of Christianity:
The Pope was a pretty influential person, so in influential that the Pop, could crown Kings and Emperors, and was thought to have more power then the emperor.
