Feudalism
The nobles lived in the castle gave safety and land to their servants
Castles were usually only owned by people who could own them these people had many servants and sometimes couldn't even dress them selves.
In feudalism people serve the people higher than them on the pyramid

Many of the crusades had to do with Jerusalem the center of the world this land was called sacred by many religions
Crusades actually helped Europe and the Middle east break down feudalism
A crusade was a holy war to take back holy land.
