The spread of Christianity
In the 100 year war when it appeared that the French would lose the war the prince of France found a girl named Joan. The girl said that her favorite saints had wanted her to go help the troupes so she did and this eventually helped lead the French to victory.
the 100 year was started because of a feud over the ruler of France. This started because the English king declared himself the king of France but as you would guess the French did not like that and they declared war.
I the Spanish inquisition the Church was afraid that because so many people were switching to a religion to conflicted with the catholic religion so they were afraid that this would lower peoples chances of getting into heaven. To solve this at first that Church sent out Friars to preach to these people and warn them and get them to convert them to Catholicism. But, as you would imagine

The first Crusade was where Antioch was captured and killed many Muslims, Jews, and ,Christians and was started by Pope Urban the second.
The fourth crusade was when Christian invaders tried to capture Jerusalem but was distracted and attacked the Byzantine Empire from Constantinople so they failed to capture Jerusalem.
In a trial a group of educated men would listen to the evidence and decide whether or not the convicted is guilty or innocent.

In feudalism was a system where people traded land for service and protection of other land that they had.
in Feudalism people serve people in higher classes than them for example the serfs served their lords and worked their land.
Europe is a very large peninsula with many other peninsulas on it such as Greece Also it has very large mountains which provide a natural barrier for protection
Europe has a lot of greenery and actually 80% of Europe's land was once forested
Waterways and rivers made trade very easy as well as providing protection, keeping cultures separate so they can develop and made travel easy.
Rome helped Christianity grow before it fell and in this empire Germany and northern Italy were known as the Holy roman empire.
Monks were people who followed a religious way of life who could choose to practice alone or with other monks. Also Monks helped other people before themselves.
Christianity first started in the Roman Empire and then spread west to Portugal and Spain and then finally to France
As Christianity spread monasteries were built, monasteries where nuns and monks as well as some other religious people would live. The monasteries were used for religious purposes such as religious vows. They were invented by Saint Benedict of Nursia
