      - provide education to those who run prisons on the potential benefits of a sensory friendly environment, such as reduced violence levels inside the prisons
        
        activities such as yoga could be provided to address sensory needs, decrease stress, increase self-regulation - all of which could improve prisoner behavior
        
        sensory rooms could also be provided for prisoners with increased sensory needs, especially when they are experiencing sensory overload
        
        educating those who are in charge about the benefits to them will encourage them to actually implement these ideas
