Median
Use the median when your trying to find the middle number. When using the median all u have to to ids order the numbers from least to greatest and then on each side take one off until you get to the middle.

Mean
You use the mean when there are several smaller numbers. When you are using the mean you add all the numbers together and divide them by how many numbers there are.

Mode
The mode is used when you are trying to find the most common number. All you have to do is look at your pair of numbers and see which numbers are repeated.

Histograms
A histogram is an representation of the distribution of numerical data. It is an estimate of the probability of a continuous variable.

Box Plots
box plot is a way of graphing the distribution of data based on the five number summary minimum first quartile, median, third quartile, and maximum.To graph a box plot all you do is use your data and put in on a line graph , then find the median, then find the lowest and the highets numbers.

Line plots
It is a graph that shows the frecuency of data along a number line. When you use it all u do is put numbers 1,2, 3, 4 .... and u put an x to repersent one thing.

a satistical question is one that can be answered by collecting data and where there will be variability in that data. This is different from a question that anticipates a deterministic answer.
