Statistical Question
-A Statistical Question is a question than you need more information to solve
-You use mean, median, and mode
How many hours a month does the average high school student read?
EXAMPLE
Box Plots
-first, be sure your data is arranged from least to greatest
-find the median of the group of numbers
-median from the group of numbers to the left
find the median from the right group of numbers
-make a number line
-plot the number on the number line using a line
-get the first number of the big group of numbers and plot it using a dot
-get the last number of the big group and plot it on the number line using a dot
Line Plots
-Collect all of your data organizing it into groups of numbers
-Make a number line consisting of all the numbers that were in the groups.
-Mark one of your numbers up above the number on the number line representing the data a s an 'x'
I.Q.R
The I.Q.R is the inner 50%of a box and whisker plot
Histograms
-Order the group of data from least to greatest
-Divide each of the numbers into the correct bucket
-Add up the numbers in each bucket
-Make a graph consisting of the buckets
-Graph the data correctly in bars that represent the data

Central Tendancy
Mean- Add up all of the numbers
-Divide by how many numbers there are
Median- Arrange the data from least to greatest
-find the middle number
If there is an even number, find the mean of those 2 numbers
Mode- Arrange the data from least to greatest
-Find the lowest and the highest numbers
-Find the difference between those 2 numbers
Range
-Arrange the data from least to greatest
-Find the lowest and the highest numbers
-Find the difference between the 2 numbers
