Indus River: The Indus River is now on of the longest rivers in what is call Asia now. From what believe the river was used for farming.

Monsoons: Monsoons are crazy rainstorms that happen seasonally in India. They can cause violent flooding during June and July.

Samsara: Samsara means the cycle that goes from birth, rebirth, and then death. People believe that this cycle would happen.
Karma: Karma is like revenge. You get back at someone. Karma means that if you do something bad or wrong you would get stuff like bad luck.
Caste / Caste System: Caste / Caste System means people who are divided into sections depending on one thing like money
Untouchable: If you were a untouchable then life was hard for you. Untouchables are the lowest caste. No one wold like to be near you or even in your shadow.
Sudras: If you were in the Sudras caste that meant you were a farm worker, unskilled worker, or a servant. You are not at the top but not at the bottom. You are near the lowest caste though
Vaisyas: If you were in the Vaisyas caste that mean't you were a merchant craftsman,landowner, or a skilled worker. You are in between all the caste if you count the untouchables
Kshatriyas: If you were in the Kshatriyas caste that meant you were a king, queen, or warrior.
Brahmins: Brahman are the high caste you could be in. If you are a Brahman you are a priest.
Aryans
Vedas- A ancient Sanskrit scriptures that contains thing like rituals for the priest for a certain.
Sankirt is a language Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism, and Jainism
Meditation: A moment when you relax your body and focus on something and focus on it.
Buddism
The Buddha: The Buddha's original name was Siddhartha Gautama. The Buddha was a prince and his father was the king. The father of the Buddha didn't want the Buddha to see the suffering in the world because there was a prophecy that either the prince would become a brave King or a wise holy person. The prince decided to sneak out of the palace and saw the suffering in the world so he decide to try to cure the suffering bu once he found out he could he decide to become a holy priest which eventually
made him the Buddha.
