Karma - past beneficial actions and harmful effects from past harmful actions, creating a system of actions and reactions throughout a soul's (Atman's) reincarnated lives forming a cycle of rebirth.
Dharma - signifies behaviours that are considered to be in accord with rta, the order that makes life and universe possible, and includes duties, rights, laws, conduct, virtues and "right way of living".

Moksha - Hindus believe that the soul passes through a cycle of successive lives. Moksha is the end of the death and rebirth cycle and is classed as the fourth and ultimate artha (goal).

Nirvana - The final goal of Buddhism. The state of no suffering, no sense of self, desire, etc. It is released from the effects of karma and the cycle of rebirth.

Untouchables/Panchamas - People who did not follow their religion will be placed in this class. People in this class were avoided. Others did not want to touch them or even their shadows. They still had jobs to do, but were forced to live outside the class system.

Brahmins - Life was always governed around religion and rituals. So, priests and scholars are placed in the highest class.
