The Caste System is something that is still used in present day India. The Caste System was used to seperate people into different groups. The "Brahmins" were the highest group that you could be in. They were the priests. The second highest were the "Kshatriyas," or the nobles and warriors. The next was, ''Vaisyas." They were the average people of India. The second to last class, "Sudras," had servants and peasants. The very last social class is the "Untouchables," or the "Dalit." These people were so low, they weren't even considered as a part of society. They couldn't be touched, looked at, or even talked to. These people were at the lowest of the lows.
