Thesis: We may be able to feed future populations
Climate change may make some biomes suitable for agriculture
Biomes such as tundra and mountainous may currently be unsuitable for agriculture and farming but when climate change increases temperatures enough, those biomes will become suitable for farming
innovation hasn't always been successful
Some innovations science have been unsuccessful due to unforeseen side-effects of some fertilisers, genetic modifications and some growing environments
Humans are able and have been able to increase food production
In the past, humans have been able to increase food production through many means, such as mechanising human processes and increasing area
We can innovate technologically and scientifically
Innovations have enabled food to be produced in largers numbers and in less amount of times
Current agriculture is reducing the amount of fertile land
Some farming practices currently and constantly deplete soil of nutrients causing plants not being able to be plated in those areas
Biomes suitable for food production
There will be many future challenges to food production.
future challenges will include climate change, depletion of resources and other factors that will change farming that only happen with time.
Notes
Possible thesis's
We will be able to feed future populations
We won't be able to feed future populations
depleting resources
Resources for agriculture are constantly depleting as more and more agriculture is needed. As the demand becomes higher. Less and less will be available, this could cause feeding future generations a lot harder.
We will be able to feed future populations
We won't be able to feed future populations
