        Student is offered more intense differentiated instruction. Intense 1 on 1 time
        
        Student is still not successful on assessments and behavior is becoming increasing difficult to manage/figure out.
        
        SPED meeting called and request for direct involvement
        
        Communicate with parents
        
        Student begins to respond to instruction and is successful on assessments. Plan of preferred learning method is documented and is integrated into curriculum.
        
        Communicate with parents
    - - Ensure the student isn't just frustrated by past failures
      - Note the behaviors and watch for changes
    - - Do they have a history of not being successful on assessments?
        
        Reach out to past teachers - speak with your
        peer teaching group to collaborate.
      - Do they have home-life issues?
        
        Not sleeping?
        
        Not enough food?
        
        Supportive engaged parents?
        
        Answer yes or no - let these questions and
        answers inform your approaches in
        differentiated lessons
