Mushrooms grow better in differemt seasons just like plants even though plants are producers and mushrooms are decomposers they are similar. (291)
Scientists know very little about mushrooms they dont even know exactly why or when fungus produces a mushroom. (292)
Scientists also dont know about the poisons in the mushrooms they say it may be for protection from being eaten or just a chemical needed for the chemical to work. (293)
Mushrooms have very little energy yet they do some amazing things. For example the shaggy mane mushroom can push their soft felshy tissue through asphalt.(294)

What is mushroom huntinhg. "It is one of the most popular leisure activities in the Czech Republic for hundreds of years, Czchec family members have bonded with other while scouring the countryside for edible fungi."
Mushroom hunting is a tradition passed down generation to generation. They are taught by their parents how to identify poisonous mushrooms from non poisonous.
Mushroom hunters do other things as well they host expeditions, sponser lectures and publish their own journals.
