- I Agree and at the same time don’t agree that Ikea company is one of the most sustainable companies in the world.
- They are just the user of it, for example they can start to build their own windmills, not only solar panels on the roof what they are doing now. My advice for a company is to start think out of the box.
- They are wasting not only the paper by putting the instructions in to the furniture boxes but also the metal tools like hexagon.
- Only “VESOS”. There are a lot of different containers. They can use for example General “CARGO VESOS”. IKEA has many orders every month, so it is the best to use a “Liner Vesos” as well.
- “VESO” containers only this for coming 5 years. The cost to ship one container from China to Netherlands is around 700 euros, so it’s cheap for IKEA company, sometimes the passenger ticket cost way more than to ship container from Shanghai to Rotterdam.

- Did I ever tell you in class about LEGO? When they were in kind of trouble… They engaged with their customers a lot in co-creation process. In other words, what you see a lot is that “we cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them” as Albert Einstein said
- You’re talking about PDPs; maybe it’s a thought that they also put accent on innovative behavior, so people may never be judged negatively. Because if they think in abroad of perspective about their company and if they bring some valuable ideas to the table, they can just have some benefits or be rewarded.
- But the real thing will be when they will actually do something with the idea outside the working times, because that brings value.
- I think it’s a great idea! By the way, you saw me laughing because it’s so recognizable that you have this thing that fits on every screw and I have at least ten at home.
- Well, I think around 80-90% of the people are visual-oriented. If they see it, they will understand it. People never read. For example, if you send something to the customers and with a nice explanation “why?”, the only thing they remember is “Damn it. It’s not there…”.

- “We also just bought a new truck which is more sustainable and has a better Co2 emission label.” “We also try to do a switch-up on big projects, if there is a long-duration project far away we set-up a Pop-up workstation nearby the project area so the machines, products can be build on site.”
- “When we ordered our containers from Poland there was a visit from IKEA a while ago, and we thought by ourselves why are we moving this much air. Why not rather transport it in parts and assemble later.”
- “Here at Ferro-Fix we are all about circular economics, so you try to make your product as green as possible. But also look at the workforce you are using to build the products.”

- This is a good plan, but where are the hexagon tool made? Is the hexagon tool made or ordered? I think the hexagon tool should be in a place in the store where the customers cannot grab it like all the pencils. I think the best idea is to do that after the cash registers.
- I think this is a very good idea because I have a lot of those hexagon tools of Ikea at home and I cannot do anything with, so that means that I am going to throw it away.
- Everything we make and design, we are trying to take into account what the factory can make, we have no problems with this concept so far. At the moment we have 115 people walking around in that factory (and 70% of them are struggling with a new start)
- Yes, of course, it is a good plan because they will produce less so it does not go into the environment anymore. And it would also be very nice to get off the cardboard. But I think your design can be implemented quickly and it will have a big change.
