Activity: Students will make a poem inspired Willy Wonka, they can choose one scene they liked, an event that happened or even a character.
Students will take out their workbooks and make a brainstorm of all the ideas they have to include in a poem for their chosen scene, event or character. In the brainstorm, students can include metaphors, similes or personification they have made up.
The poem must make use of Imagery, Similies, metaphors, and personification. The students will then hand their work in for marking to the teacher. These poems will then be typed up by the students to display in the classroom.
