Antithesis
Consist in contrast relationship between two ideas
Example
That's one small step for man one giant leap for mankind
Love is a ideal thing, marriage a real thing.
Anaphora
Repetition of a word, phrase or clause at the begining of a two or more clauses or sentences in a row.
Examples:
We made a difference.
We made the city stronger,
we made the city freer.
To think on death it is a misery.
To think on life it is a vanity;
To think on the world verily it is,
To think that here man had no perfect bliss.
Assonance
Consist in repeat the same vowel sound
Examples
Men sell the wedding bells.
Go and mow the lawn.
Antimetabole
It is a literary term or device that
consist in repet a phrase in reverse
order.
Examples
Eat to live, not live to eat.
Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.
