An ideal king: Holy, Kind, and trusting
Macbeth
Not really a proper king, since he murdered his predecessor and scared the rightful heir away.
A tyrant, and butcher he is also extremely paranoid.

Contrasted with Duncan- Duncan is too trusting "there is no art to read the mind's construction on the face" and Macbeth is paranoid. (he has spies)
Malcom

When his father (Duncan) was murdered by Macbeth, he was forced to flee to England. #
By the end of the play, Malcom has killed Macbeth and has taken his rightful place as King of Scotland.

Can heal people, much like Jesus.
Links to James I, because Shakespeare wrote this play to induce political stability in England. E.g. The "tyrant" goes mad and dies horribly. Shakespeare also writes against overly trusting king as well
