Good sales are used to make the consumer feel like they were getting the better deal even though there was a catch in the deal
Poor service will deter people from people from coming back to there store
Price
Low prices is a incentive for consumers to by products they normally wouldn't
This is why they place all of the good sales in smart and visible places
Age
They will place toys on the lowest shelf to entice kids to tell there mums to buy it as they are at eye levels
By the age of 18 you are looking to buy a car or apartment so they will place those types of magazines and posters around essentials that they 18 year olds will buy normally
Convienience
Offering delivery is a big part of selling products as people don't have to go anywhere
Offering a close shopping centre or multipule stores to increase the convenience
Marketing
Advertising is in all types of buying products. For example they will put a McDonalds ad after or in the middle of a cooking show as that is the audience that are looking to buy that product
This can also be exclusive deals that make you buy other products to get access to this
Finance
Companies will make deals that are so good to pass up. For example McDonalds have 10 nuggets for $8.50. But for limited time they have 24 nuggets for $10.50. You are getting more than double the amount of nuggets for not even a fourth of the price
Enviromental
Where people grow up will effect what they will buy and invest in. And big companies will take this into there advantage
Using bright packaging is useful as when people litter for example a coke can. People can see that coke can as its bright red and that will get them thinking about coke
Gender
They strategically place items that are based for men around other items that most men like to eat/use. Such as they will put mens deodorant around the snacks and energy drink so you have to walk past them to get to what you want
They specifically place womans items around magazines and cosmetic items to entice woman to buy them
