Letters- most likely going to be in paragraphs.

Play- acts or roles, speeches/sayings.

Punctuation

Periods- come after a statement

Comma- separates two parts in a sentence.

Exclamation marks-comes after exiting event or a yell.

Question marks- after a question.

quotation marks- signifies when someone starts talking or stops talking.

Spelling

Prefix- words that begin in "pre" example: perheat, to heat up before

Capitalization- proper nouns, beginning of a sentence or when "I" is used alone.

A Suffix- come after a word, example: "ion" constructION

Punctuation- statements need a period mark. Exciting statements or yelling of a person needs an exclamation mark.

Questions need a question mark.

Onomatopoeia

A sound affect, Example: "crash!"

These words do not have to be spelled correctly, they are spoken words from someone, or are sounds from objects.

Phrases

Idioms- an exaggeration. for example, Its raining cats and dogs, this means its raining very hard.

Similes- phrases that have like in them. for example, the sound of the band sounded like thunder.

Metaphor- instead of saying, raining cats and dogs, you could say what the rain is really doing. raining really hard.
