        The extra dots that appear are called 'direction lines' - they control the shape of the curve
        
        To adjust their position/length hold the ctrl/cmd key and drag the direction point (the non anchor point)
        
        If you need to control just one half of direction point hold down alt/option key
      - To make curves - click for anchor point and drag the handles which allow to create steepness of curve - the next click will follow the direction/curve set by original
      - When creating curves - click and hold, drag and hold option key the drag
      - To under Ctrl Alt Z or Edit -> Step Backwards
    - - Use pen tool to click around the object you want to mask the click Mask at the top
      - e.g. remove a background
      - When closing the path i.e. gone round an object should see a small circle around it
      - Once created the anchor points around an object - press command and enter to convert to a selection and click layer mask option at the bottom of layer tab to hide the background
