Person specification
The skills that a job candidate must have in order to complete the tasks of a position offered by a company. A person specification can outline the educational requirements, training experience as well as more personal qualifications that a candidate must possess.
Job description
A job description or JD is a document that describes the general tasks, or other related duties, and responsibilities of a position. It may specify the functionary to whom the position reports, specifications such as the qualifications or skills needed by the person in the job, and a salary range.
Job analysis
Job Analysis is a process to identify and determine in detail the particular job duties and requirements and the relative importance of these duties for a given job. Job Analysis is a process where judgments are made about data collected on a job.
selection
The process of interviewing and evaluating candidates for a specific job and selecting an individual for employment based on certain criteria. Employee selection can range from a very simple process to a very complicated process depending on the firm hiring and the position.

Induction Training
Induction training is the training that an employee receives when he/she first joins a business or organisation. Induction training is important as it enables a new recruit to become productive as quickly as possible. It can avoid costly mistakes by recruits not knowing the procedures or technique of their new jobs.

Motivation
Monetary Motivators
As the name implies, a monetary incentive is a money-based reward given when an employee meets or exceeds expectations. Monetary incentives can include cash bonuses, stock options, profit-sharing and any other type of reward that increases an employee's compensation.
Non-monetary Motivators
Compensation given in a transaction which does not involve cash. A non-monetary reward can consist of almost any material object such as jewelry, precious metals or an automobile for example. In business, a non-monetary reward can also be a service such as improvements made on a property or repairs done on a car.

Democratic
Democratic leadership in an organization involves the redistribution of power and authority between employees and managers to provide employee involvement in decision making.

Appraisal
Superior
a person superior to another in rank or status, especially a colleague in a higher position.
Peer
Employee assessments conducted by colleagues in the immediate working environment i.e. the people the employee interacts with regularly. Peer appraisal processes exclude superiors and underlings.
