RS- Islam!
Predestination
Predestination (Known as al-qadr) Is a Muslim believe/idea Allah knows everything in the smallest details
It is a belief that Everything that exists or happens has a purpose and everything is part of God's plan for his creation and is under his control.
Muslims believe that God does not control anyone mind but allows them freewill which is when humans have the freedom to choose between right and wrong decisions.
Allah knows our mind before we do. Our destiny is already known and he knows if we will disobey or obey his will but that doesn't take away our freedom . Humans do not know their destiny y but can still choose what they will do.
Qoute: " Whatever God grants to humanity out of his mercy, no one can withold and what he withholds no one can grant aprt from him"
Prophethood
a person who speaks for God or a deity, or by divine inspiration.
-
Who was the first prophet? Adam was the first Prophet and 1st man on earth of islam, he is regarded as father of human-race
God asked Adam to tell angels the name of somethings that they didnt know about but he did, God told angels to bow down to Adam out of respect but iblis refused which meant he was thrown to hell
Adam is important because he passed down knowledge from god to the rest of human race and he was the first man to plant seeds, harvest crops and cook food. God showed him what food muslims eat, how to repent wrongdoing and how to bury the dead.
The islam Holy Book
Qur'anic revelations are regarded by Muslims as the sacred word of God, intended to correct any errors in previous holy books such as the Old and New Testaments..
The Qur'an is the holy book for Muslims, revealed in stages to the Prophet Muhammad over 23 years.
There are 114 chapters in the Qur'an, which is written in the old Arabic dialect.
All the chapters except one begin with the sentence Bismillahir rahmanir raheem, 'In the name of Allah the most merciful and the most kind'. This is the thought with which Muslims should start every action.
Risalah
Muslims believe that Allah chooses his prophets. He chooses those who can brought his message accurately and accordingly to their life too. These messengers are known as prophets. So in muslim context, risalah means scriptures revealed from God through a messenger
-
" Every community is sent a messenger and when their messengers comme, they'll be judged justly, they won't be wronged"
Transendence
Tawhid
Muslims use the word Tawhid to express unity of god meaning there is only 1 God alone and without equal
-
Quote: "He is Allah, the one, Allah is eternal and absolute. None is born of him"
(Surah 112)
God know, sees everything and can do anything
-
Muslims believe God is transcendence which means that he is outside and beyond the created world and time.
He isnt bound be the same limits as humans and is infinite and eternal!
Quote: "No vision can grasp him, but his grasp is over all vision; He is above all comprehension, yet knows all things.
(Surah 6:103)
Sunni & Shia Muslims!
The split
The Muslims who supported the descendants of Muhammad became known as shiat'ali or shi'ites. Since Ali had died, they believed that the next kalifah shouldbe ali's son Hasan, followed by Husayn.
However 90% of other Muslims believed that elections should take place to make sure the next kalifah would be the best and they believed it is wrong to claim there is a family line of rulers
