August: Houthi's rebel against country and fight for an anti-government meanwhile Hadi brings up fuel taxes since the oil pipeline blew up in July
later in 2014: the National Dialogue conference made a constitution which allows Yemen to split into 6 regions, therefore, the Houthi protested for anti-government when Hadi brings up fuel taxes since fuel pipelines got bombed earlier that year. From this the o take control of Sana'a

March: two suicide bombings targeting Shia mosques in Sanaa in which 137 people are killed. Hadi comes back while Houthi protest and gets exploded and killed against them

The Houthi government begins to fall apart as Hadi flees to Aden and Sanaa gets bombed killing 137, therefore, Hadi comes back while the Houthi are protesting but Saudi strikes against them and stops it. Hadi then goes back to Aden after the US kills Al-Qaeda presidetn.

Who are the houthis:
The houthis are an insurgent group based in northwestern region of Yemen. THe Houthis are religiously affiliated with a Shiite Islam called Zaydism.
The Houthis have been fighting against the government discontinuously since 2004 till today by taking over the countries capital in 2015 where the civil war officially started
Recently deceased; former president ali abdullah saleh was assasinated in december of 2017 by Houthi rebels near Yemen's capital Sanaa.
The houthis In 2017 were continuously bombing Saudi Arabia as well aiming them at the capital Riyadh .
