Some distance themselves from Christianity (awakening), others note it's similarity to Islam (continuity)
Becoming Christian is an awakening because it requires change, cleansing of sins, born again, doing away with original sin
Islam has concept of fitrah, natural state, so becoming Muslim means going back to this fitrah.
Many Stress that the "Never Really Believed in Christianity" ... what does this mean? IS THIS A RHETORIC OF CONTINUITY?
