5 or more days of fever
minor criteria (4/5)
non-purulent conjunctivitis
red mucuous membranes
polymorphous rash
changes in extremities (peeling, edema)
cervical lymphadenopathy
investigations
CBC: high WBC
inflammatory markers ESR, CRP
echocardiography

coronary aneurysm
(hydrops gallbladder)
physical examination
(within
10 days of fever
) coronary aneurysm
IV immunoglobulin
(slow over 6 hours x allergy) (2nd 3rd dose 48 hours after fever)
coronary thrombosis
(then this until echo 6 weeks later)
low-dose
anti-platelet
aspirin
systemic vasculitis
(when no fever, normal inflammatory markers)
high dose
anti-inflammatory
