Work, Health and Safety:
TAFE Queensland student rules are designed to ensure that learners are
aware of their rights as well as their responsibilities. All learners are
encouraged to familiarise themselves with the TAFE Queensland student
rules, specifically as they relate to progress of study and assessment
guidelines.

Note to Student
Terminology:
Logo (type) – Traditionally, any group of type characters (other than
ligatures)such as company names. The term is used to describe any design
or symbol, such as a pictogram, for a corporation or oraganisation, which
forms the centrepiece of its corporate identity.
2 Dimension - A shape with only two dimensions (such as width and
height) and no thickness. Squares, Circles, Triangles, etc. are twodimensional
objects.
Thumbnail sketches – These are quick, fluid and abbreviated drawings.
Usually with no corrections.
Comprehensive drawings – A more detailed drawing that communicates
the position and size of text, colours and images.
