Post Cold War
Was the unipolar international order created by US hegemony in the 1990s a more stable form of international society than the bipolarity and multipolarity that preceded it?’

Bipolar World is more stable because at least you have two powers, where you can choose to take sides (which naturally will happen). You need to have a check and balance.
In a unipolar world, no one is checking and balancing. We can't determine what is good and bad leadership. What makes you think that America 10 years down the road that it will be a good leadership? If it's bad, what will happen to the rest of the world? Do you think this world is going to be more stable if the leaderships of the US are bad?
Hence, a unipolar world creates uncertainty & the suspicion of the superpower and everything you do not know about the superpower and has everything and has every form of economic and military might at their expense to use against you. That is a frightening thought, which is not going to cause stability in the long run.
A bipolar world, on the other hand, is less scary. That's because you get to choose sides - whichever makes the world go round. A multipolar world, is not good because everyone will check against everyone -

In this paper, I will demonstrate that the bipolar world is a more stable form of international society as it provides for more security and economic growth during the period than the other two that preceded it.
A stable form of Int Society means a stable in terms of state to state conflicts and therefore there is no conflicts between states now. Unipolarity, is therefore, a stable form int society.
