put a a piece of tape under the toes then start going around the heel and ending up in the pinky and big toe. secure everything with layers .
for a shoulder spica go around the arm in the bicep area then go around the back and under the arm ending up where you started.
reasons for taping are prevention of blisters, support, immobilization.
