Air pressure is the force of the pressing down on
us ,due to the weight of the atmosphere .When air is rising there is less force pressing down on us so the air pressure falls. When air is sinking, the air pressure rises.Air pressure is measured in barometer and the units are called millibars. The greater the reading the higher the pressure.
A high pressure system is called an anticyclone. Air falls in anticyclones so no clouds are formed. In summer it usually results in clear skies and colder conditions. An are of low pressure is called a depression. Air rises in a depression so clouds and rainfall are formed , this then brings unsettled weather and rain.

Climate
An average over 30 years :earth_africa:
Response to climate change
Stop using aerosols
Walk as much as possible
Use electric cars
Don't burn items
Stop using fossil fuels
Reduce, reuse, recycle, respect
Use trains or buses
Turn lights off
Turn the taps
use solar panels
High pressure- warm air rises leading to low pressure
Low pressure- cool air falls leading to high surface
Thermometer- mercury in bulb expands as it gets hotter
Rain gauge- rain builds up in the bottle. There are measurements on side
Anemometer- it is dug into ground, water falls into tube measurements on side
Wind vane- shows direction of the wind, when wind blows arm swings to face wind
