this is the explaining to the people that are interested in the job what quantities and skills are expected from the successful applicant. the person specification would include sections such as qualifications needed, expected skills gained, useful personal qualities and relevant interests.

finding out exactly what the job involves. this will clearly help when selecting the best people for the job. This stage of the process must find out
the exact tasks and duties. The skills , the training that may be required for a 'new' employee. How a persons work will be analysed and appraised.
