Classification of fungi

Sexual : producing spores
Asexual : budding , fragmentation , producing spores
Major features of fungi
aseptate : they lack cross wall . they move food faster than the septa because the don't have cross wall
septa : have large pores to allow nutrients, cytoplasm, and organelles to flow between cells.
characteristics of fungi:
Yeast is a unicellular fungi found in substances containing sugar.
multicellular fungi:
Appear similar to plants, but do not possess chloroplasts or photosynthesize
nutrition in fungi
fungi produce enzymes to break down their food before they absorbs it.
