moral reasoning - it is a balance of good. in protecting the patient, the balance of good is to do the checklist.

List 4-5 reasons (from historical and current ethics) that research on human subjects is morally justifiable
- when you cannot model events through computer simulations or other methods / animals
benefit to the patients. therapeutic value. contribute to the value of human beings. this itself is a communal task, recognizing how communal biomedical science is. healing is about human beings -- is a communalist science.
focus of this class is the moral reasoning of healers. not institution. not gov officials because we do not cover moral sources for those.
